Masamune slips his hand into the wrap and finds your wrist, pressing his fingers against your artery. You don’t need to be told twice, as you nod off to sleep once more. “Come now, if I really wanted you in my bed, it would be under different circumstances. He laughs and tugs on the blanket around your face. “This is just an excuse to get me in your bed.” Your head lulls forward, against his chest. “So I brought you here to keep you warm.” “I didn’t want to leave you alone,” he explains, brushing your hair away from your forehead. When you open your eyes again, you panic a bit because you do not recognize your surroundings. Using the extra blankets, he wraps you in the fabric and holds you close to keep you warm. He walks slowly, as to not disturb you, and makes his way to his quarters where he sets you down gently on his futon. You drift off for a moment, and Masamune hoists you up into his strong arms. “I have so much to do today though…” you whine, closing your eyes. “Your forehead is really warm… I think you might have a fever.” You try to pull back because you don’t want him to catch whatever you have, but he doesn’t let you squirm away. Masamune presses his forehead against yours, his grip tightening on you so that you don’t fall out of the blanket bundle. His smile falls, and he rushes to your side, bring your bundled body into his chest. He slides the door open, and his demeanor changes completely. You roll over slowly, groaning when you realize it’s Masamune. The knock sounds again, but you don’t want to answer it because of the state you’re in. Somehow, you’ve caught a bug overnight and everything is sore. When someone knocks at the door, you can’t even move from the futon because you’re so tired and weak. Ideally, this would take place when masamune is courting mc! I did try to find some more information regarding medicine from the time period, but i could not find many things, therefore everything i reference is a bit general! I know Ieyasu is the “healer,” but i dont have anything for masamune yet.
